READY OR NOT, HERE WE COME :)

It's been a crazy past few weeks!  I finished writing our full second album, three back to back Saturday shows, a web page under construction, collaboration with new bands, adding new members... wow!  Talk about an insanely busy past month... but we couldn't be more thankful for our local support, and our recent following! Boy have you been good to us!   It's hard to believe only 4 months ago, we started playing live (seems like it's been years already), and how quick things can change when you throw all your fears aside, and "just do it".   I went from a solo act, to a trio in a few weeks, now adding a bass player, a marketing intern, a web developer... sheesh!  How rewarding this path has already been... and I feel lucky to be in a position where I've realized this is what I'm supposed to be doing, thanks to you! :)

So here's what's next!  Is it April yet???  We'll be playing two favorite larger venue shows on Saturday, 4.2, at The Fine Line Music Cafe (8pm) and Thursday, 4.7,  opening for our good friends, and wonderful band, Seconds Before Sleep, and the famous, Cedar Avenue (we're on at 7:30pm).  You're in for a treat, as Cedar Ave has worked with some of the best in the biz, and we're thrilled to share the stage with such talented artists!  We'll be hanging after with our CD's and merch, to enjoy the other bands, and hang with you!  Make sure to state that you are there to see us at the door (it shows the venue you're here to support us- THANKS), we'll take your name, and make sure we thank you personally for coming out!   We really love to know who's here to support us, and make sure we personally get to know you! :)  So please, show us some love, so we can give it to ya right back!

April showers?  well... we'll shower you with music! :)  See you on 4.2 and 4.7!   Thank you again for listening, and for your support!

Second Album Under Way!

Live @ The Fine Line Music Cafe

That's right, we're almost done!  We just released It's Me, And I Like You this last August, and I have had such a wonderful time writing instrumentally/lyrically that I am ready to record album #2!  The songs featured on this next album will mainly feature our full band sound, whereas my first was very acoustic.  Sticking by my notion that I want to keep my music as raw/real as possible, recording no where else than my home based studio, I feel really good about where this project is headed!  Feelin' Thankful was just posted to my Facebook music page, which is a sneak peak to the sound album #2 will feature.  I recorded and wrote the song Thanksgiving morning...yep, I was feelin' thankful :).  The album is refined to an acoustic, trio sound featuring all new music, and a bonus track of a full band re-release of "Give Up, Go" (live), etc...I couldn't be more excited to get this project under way!

Cheers to a wonderful 2011, a new album, and a big THANK YOU, again, to those who are supporting our sound!  We're on a mission baby :).
